How far in advance should I contact you to plan a date or proposal?
Ever heard how you can’t rush perfection? Since we’re planning your perfect dates and proposals, we need time. For dates, we prefer a minimum of two weeks lead time from the date itself. For proposals, we prefer a minimum of two months before the big day.
However, we enjoy playing fairy godmother, so contact us with urgent queries. We might be able to work magic in the name of love.
What will my honey think?
Don’t worry, we don’t blab. Amore Austin’s involvement in your date or proposal can be as private as you’d like. We’ll even let you take all the credit.
If you’re willing to share the spotlight, we’ve found that partners are impressed by the thought behind hiring someone to thoughtfully create an experience specially for them. It makes us blush, but sometimes they even brag online.
What if I don’t like your idea?
We’ve built our planning process around a one-on-one interaction with you. Everything we brainstorm is tailored for your tastes, so we’re committed to creating an experience you’ll love. However, if we don’t hit the mark, we’ll work together for an idea you’re thrilled about.
What’s the difference between Plan and Plan+?
Both options begin with the same process: our individualized consultation and creative concepting just for you.
With Plan, we deliver a detailed guide to create the date we planned yourself using our simple steps, picture instructions, and personal recommendations. If you’re hands-on, but stumped for ideas or struggling to stay organized, Plan lets you do the work yourself, but with our guidance and planning.
With Plan+, we handle all the details for you from contacting vendors to final clean-up. If you want to romance your honey, but are short on time or stressed by planning, Plan+ lets you enjoy the moment without worrying about the planning itself.

When do I pay?
After your free consultation call, we’ll send a contract to engage our services with payment details and a link to our payment portal. Payment is due in full upfront. Those fees reflect only the cost of our event planning services.
Any additional vendor fees (for personal shopping, reservations, or hiring, etc.) are paid separately directly to those vendors. You are responsible for paying vendors, but we’ll facilitate this process as much as possible for a seamless, stress-free experience.
What if I need to reschedule/cancel my event?
We get it. Things happen. We’ll do our damnedest to help reschedule your date or proposal for another day. However, we are not responsible for any rescheduling fees from venues, vendors, or any other goods/services.
With Plan+, what if I cancel my event?
If you need to cancel full-service planning for a Plan+ date or proposal, our ability to refund you differs based on time from the event’s intended date. Our policy for refunds and cancellations apply only to our planning services. Please keep in mind vendors have their own refund and cancellation policies.
For dates, we refund 50% of hours worked for a cancellation two weeks or more from the date. Less than two weeks from your date, we cannot refund any fees.
For proposals, we refund 50% of hours worked for a cancellation one month or more from the day off. Less than a month from your proposal, we cannot refund any fees.
